Currency Tools

This area is designed to help you navigate you way around the world of finance. With Live Rates, Currency Charts and the Currency Converter, you can keep up to date live with what is happening on the markets and how it affects your money.

Whether you need to send someone abroad money, do an overseas business deal or simply want to find out what the latest currency movements are, this is the area to use.

Checking live currency rates helps you to make an informed decision when choosing a brokerage or forex platform. The closer their rates are to those on the chart, the better the deal for you. Rates on currency charts are generally the Interbank spot rate, which ordinary people cannot access. They are used purely by large banks and financial institutions. However, good currency brokers can offer rates very close to the Interbank rate – often within 1 to 3%.

Our currency tools are updated regularly throughout the day. For a free no-obligation quote from a specialist brokerage, use the menu on the side of the page.

Live Foreign Exchange Rates

Only by checking the latest central exchange rates can you get a good idea of the quality of the rate that your currency broker or money transfer service is offering you. The closer their rate is, the better the deal for you! Note that only big banks and financial institutions can access the Interbank rate shown on the rate chart – but a good currency service will be able to offer you within 1 and 3% of the Interbank rate.

Currency Converter

The currency converter is a really helpful tool, allowing you to instantly see how much your dollars are worth in another currency (such as the Euro).

This is a great way to check what the latest central exchange rate is for your chosen currency pair, and your broker should be able to offer you a rate very similar to the one shown in the converter. Try exchanging currencies at the airport and you will be subject to a poor exchange rate and maybe even a commission fee!

Currency Charts

Currency charts are used by all kinds of people – from professional currency brokers, retail investors, currency traders, banks and anyone with an interest for what's going on in the currency charts. These charts provide you with a pictorial image of what is happening with the world's major currency pairs. Choose to view the pattern within 1 minute and up to 1 week.
